Embossed veneer - A veneer where a 3D pattern is pressed (Embossed) onto the surface using machines. The texture and grain are artificially created or enhanced. Whereas Natural veneer is made by slicing real wood logs. What you see is the actual grain of the tree.
Yes, we offer Embossing on all type of veneers available with us including Natural Veneers, Dyed Veneers & Hybrid Veneers. It can also be undertaken on special characteristics veneers like burls / figured etc.

Embossed veneers are supplied in a raw form and require polishing as per the customer’s or architect’s preference. Finishes such as PU (matte, gloss, etc.) can be applied to achieve the desired look and level of protection.
However, our Range of Chroma Bunito & Mattle Bunito comes in pre-finished form, ready to use, requiring No Polishing or No Sanding. Also, No Nails should be used while installing these panels for maintaining the surface finish.
Embossed veneers provide a similar 3D visual effect at a more affordable cost. They are also lighter, with a veneer thickness of around 0.5 mm (total panel thickness ~4 mm).
In contrast, fluted panels have deeper grooves and higher material thickness, making them heavier and typically expensive than Embossed.
Embossed veneers are made on an HDHMR base, which offers moderate moisture resistance. However, being a wood-based product, they should not be exposed to excessive moisture.
Proper installation and sealing are recommended to ensure durability and longevity.
