ORIGIN: Europe
   
RANGE:

Throughout Europe up to latitude 60' north. USES:

PROPERTIES:

MACHINING:

Yew can be easily and well machined with all tools. Planed Surfaces are very smooth.

FINISHING:

Surface treatments take well

               
   
JOINTING:

Screw and nail joints bold well. Glue is on,y accepted to a certain degree on account of oily substances contained in the wood.
