We at Natural Veneers are delighted to announce our participation in India's green building movement through our membership of the Indian Green Building Council (IGBC). IGBC is actively involved in promoting the Green Building concept in India. It provides various services such as certifications, professional examinations, workshops and training programs.

The council is represented by all stakeholders of construction industry comprising of Corporate, Government & Nodal Agencies, Architects, Product manufacturers, Institutions, etc. and works on member driven consensus based approach.

We look forward in actively participating in our capacities to conserve precious natural resources such as wood and thus facilitate the green building concept in India.

Being first in the category is the best policy a company can opt for. Thus Natural Veneers takes another leap of providing AdvantEdge – veneer edge bandings in the roll form with the thicknesses of 0.5mm, 1mm, 1.5mm, 2mm, 2.5mm and 3mm. We are the only and the 1st company in India providing veneer edge bandings upto 3mm in the roll form. We feel proud to produce and provide these kinds of products to the Indian wood industry. We would primarily like to offer our AdvantEdge to the Indian furniture manufacturers, who would wish to match up with the European furniture manufacturing standards. These thicker edge bandings would serve the need of strong and durable veneer edges (instead of wooden strips) with the same grain match for the furniture manufacturer. You can now position your false ceilings beyond 8 feet; no matter which specie of veneer you use!!
At Natural Veneers we believe in offering better value to our customers all the time. Thus following the same philosophy we have equipped ourselves to offer around 20-25 species of veneers in 10 feet and 12 feet length. Some of the veneers which would be made available are Stonewood, Sassafras, Golden Swirl, Ebony, Coreal, Eucalyptus, Black Alder, Wenghe, Sapeli and Walnut.

The underlying principle behind offering longer lengths is to offer grain continuation on longer spans without visible breaks. "The longer length veneer is a must these days. this is the reason we try hard to source as many species as possible in longer lengths. it is a painful exercise considering the number of species that you have to make available for it to make sense from a user stand point" said Arpan Turakhia, Director, Marketing and Sales when quizzed about the need for longer length veneers.

Moving forward we believe this is a positive step in the veneering industry as more and more private houses mushroom all over the country.

More number of FSC Certified veneers
Being a responsible veneer manufacturing company, we have taken another step forward to support the responsible management of the world's forests by increasing the number of FSC - Forest Stewardship Council Certified veneers. Our FSC Certified veneers now include Chestnut, White Oak, Eucalyptus, Sapeli and Coffee Bean which can be used for Eco-friendly and Green projects as well. And we also look forward to increase the number of the veneers with FSC certification which warrant a responsible trader. We strongly believe in fair and socially responsible trade practices which ensure the reliability and credibility of the company.

Launching New Sizes of Veneers
We hereby announce a step further towards attaining the goal of offering our customers a total range of veneers with all the possible colors and sizes. Thus we proudly introduce our new veneer sheet sizes of 10feet x 4feet and 12feet x 4feet. We the team at Natural Veneers strongly feel that these sizes of veneers can be highly appreciated in the market. Our prime focus is to provide our consumer family with all the possible variants of veneers, and going forward we will be continuously trying the same.

We hope that we continue to get the same support from our consumer family for our newly introduced veneer sheet sizes. Their support lead us to introduce such new variants to the market.

Delhi Wood 2011 - Excellent Show
Whether it is India Wood or it is Delhi Wood, no furniture manufacturer can miss the show. And as a result, yet another time we have been able to end the show on a successful note at Delhi Wood 2011. We were able to add a number of quality furniture manufacturers to our Natural family. And this was only because of the FurniPack we had displayed at the show which attracted number of furniture manufacturers, the FurniPack included the veneer Edge bandings i.e. AdvantEdge, fleece backed veneers and the specially processed flexible veneers for post forming application (introduced for the first time in India).

As we move towards a mechanized furniture manufacturing era, we look forward to add more members to the family of Natural Veneers. We the team at Natural Veneers focus at having a healthy and a long term relationship with our customers.

Delhi Wood 2011 - New Delhi
After the success of exhibitions held at ACE TECH, which lead to adding more number of Architects and Interior designers to our family, we the team from Natural Veneers are heading towards another trade show 'Delhi wood 2011', Pragati Maidan, Delhi.

At ACE TECH we tried to have a bonding with Architects and Interior designers, and now at Delhi Wood 2011 our prime focus would be the furniture manufacturers. We would be displaying our Furnipack- complete veneering solutions for furniture manufacturers and proudly introducing the Flexible veneers. Thus we looking forward to this show, and expect a positive response from our target audience.

Bengaluru has always been a competitive market for veneer industry due to the number of players present in the market out there. And inspite of that fact we were able to attract a large number of architects and interior designers, and this was possible all because of our excellent veneering solutions and the variety of the decorative veneers and solid wood mosaics we offered out there. ACE TECH exhibition being one of the most renowned exhibitions of all time helped us attract fresh as well as many established interior designers and architects. Bengaluru ACE TECH 2011 resulted into one of the most successful exhibitions for our company which opened up new dimensions for not only the decorative veneers but also the veneering solutions for furniture industry.

This was how we tried to keep a personal touch with our valuable consumers through such corporate shows, and we would try and continue to keep up the same relations with all our valuable consumer family.

It has always been rightly said ‘Delhi dilwalon ki’. At ACE TECH 2010, Delhi exhibition we the team of Natural Veneers were overwhelmed by the response for our veneer products. People at Delhi were so much eager to know more and more about innovative products that we were able to place a positive image of innovative brand in the minds of the architects and the interior designers. Our products like Smoked veneers, Rough cut veneers, Rough cut classic veneers and feel series (textured veneers), Gemss – solid wood mosaics, veneers edge banding rolls and fleece backed veneer helped us to attract architects and interior designers who were looking out for one stop solution for veneered furniture.

We must say that ACE TECH 2010, Delhi was indeed an extravagant experience to explore the newest horizon of the market, with a lot of innovative architects and designers.

 

 

 

GFTN-India Certificate

GFTN- India (The Global Forest and Trade Network) Certification
'Natural Veneers' once again leads the way in moving forward with responsible forestry by becoming the first veneer company in India to be a participant of GFTN- India (The Global Forest and Trade Network). GFTN is a WWF’s initiative to eliminate illegal logging and drive improvements in forest management.

“It is not just about a marketing need as we do not export a lot of material. We sell our material majorly in the domestic Indian market where the awareness for responsible forestry is limited. Thus this would not be perceived as major advantage by the users. We do it because our company principally believes in being responsible to the environment. Our organization culture of responsible forestry is amply demonstrated by the new products (solid wood mosaics & edge bandings) that we develop. We always try to use all the wood that is available to create useful products” said Amish Turakhia, Director who was present at the event organized by GFTN- India here in Delhi to collect the certificate.

As the construction and building industry move towards more and more green projects these kind of initiatives would be appreciated by the consuming market. For the consuming market and the society at large this kind of developments are good to see in a business world that is largely used to working with only bottom lines!!!

After a super experience at ACE TECH 2010, Mumbai, we the team at Natural Veneers also took part in ACE TECH 2010, Chennai for the first time. The show helped us in placing our brand and the products with an image of being innovative and a one stop solution provider for veneered furniture. Our display products included smoke veneers, Rough cut veneers, Rough cut classic veneers and feel series (textured veneers), Gemss – solid wood mosaics, veneer edge banding rolls, fleece backed flexible veneers.

Architects and designers showed keen interest in new and innovative veneer products that were on display. And we the team at Natural Veneers strongly believe that creating awareness and maintaining strong relationships with the customer is very much necessary, thus we do not keep ourselves away from taking part in these trade exhibitions where we can meet different prospects with their varied needs. The show was aimed at establishing our presence in the market.

'Natural Veneers' kick starts the new season in a grand manner with participation at the ACE TECH 2010, Mumbai trade fair for the interior designing community. The Natural team would continue the participation at Chennai, Delhi and Bangalore shows as well.

The show is pretty much where the industry comes together for a sneak preview of the best materials available and ‘to be launched’ for interior decoration. The show would further expose the range of smoked, rough & feel series veneers ofthe company to the design and specifying community. The show would also highlight fresh product categories such as veneer edge bandings and solid wood mosaics to the design community for the first time.

We at Natural Veneers believe that these events are very important to communicate on one-to-one basis with designers and gather feedback about our products. The Natural team would tour major cities of the country to gather a holistic perspective about their offerings in the market.

Launch of Feel Series
‘Natural Veneers’ has again come up with wild card in the veneer surfacing industry. This time around it is the ‘Feel- Exploring Natural Patterns’ series of veneers. With leadership position in smoked and rough category it is probably the right time to add a third dimension to the product category.

Feel series veneers are different as opposed to the standard textured veneers available in the market. The textured veneers are based on the principle of artificial press plates used by the laminate industry. If you mark the textured veneers till date are promoted majorly by veneer companies having sister laminate companies. But we bring in a fresh approach where we infuse natural patterns onto veneers. Our specialty has always been retaining the natural look in veneers. There is no point in trying to make a natural product look artificial” said Arpan Turakhia, Director Sales and Marketing.

It seemed that ‘Natural Veneers’ were the latest entrant in the textured veneer market with the “me too” approach but after a closer look we understand that it is a new category all together. Natural Veneers had entered the international veneer market with a big bang by bagging the Interzum award for intelligent material design for its unique Rough Cut Veneers. To continue in the same vein the Natural team now makes it maiden journey to USA.


Natural showcased its premium veneer offerings to the US market. Along with the veneers it was also first exposure for the Natural GEMSS- natural wood mosaics. The unique handcrafted solid wood mosaics were the show stealer.

 

‘Natural’ received very good response for the high end mosaics. We got to say that the company is going places but also are getting attention from all across the globe!! This one is for the product development team.

GEMSS Launch
We have a new product offering. Yes once again. But this time it is not yet another series!! We have premium handcrafted solid wood mosaics.

‘Natural’ product development team is surely keeping pace with the latest trends. With stone mosaics being a runaway success, ‘Natural’ brought its very own version of wood mosaics to match it.

 

“We wanted to offer something similar to stone mosaics. Being a natural material the kind of feel it gives is similar and also designers appreciate the concept. Primarily it is to give uniformity to interiors but yet retain the something different factor.” said Amish Turakhia, Director, Product Design and Development.

 

We would have to wait and see how the concept is received in the Indian market.

Dealers meet at Singapore
With sales rising it was a perfect time for the sales team to come together… and what better place than Singapore for a fun meeting after a year full of hard slogging in the field.


Natural Veneers had all its dealers on a fun trip to Singapore. With dealers coming from all across the country it was melting pot of trends in veneer retailing. The trip was primarily intended to give a long deserved break to the team of young men who worked all through the year to take Natural Veneers to the number one position in the specialty veneer segment.

 

The trip gave a good opportunity to all the dealers to share views and opinions about company offerings in their respective markets. It also generated good insights for the company about its current product portfolio in the market.

As we move away from glitz and glamour of Fiero Series in Jaipur, its time for some technical stuff for industrial users!! The Natural Team is in Bangalore for Indiawood 2010 show.

 

India Wood seems to be the perfect platform to launch products targeted at mechanized users. Thus Natural presented its ‘Furnipack- complete veneer solution for furniture manufacturers.’ Products included veneered boards, fleece backed veneers, edge banding rolls, profile wrapping veneers and thicker veneers.


To top this complete solution for furniture manufacturers Natural showcased its ability to offer all its technical refinements in its latest range of smoked and rough cut veneers. Whoa!! Now that is best of both worlds- aesthetically and technically!!  


Natural Veneers booth got tremendous response in terms of foot fall and also in resultant after show sales. Now we await a bigger and a better Delhi Wood show!!

Welcome to the ever expanding world of ‘NATURAL VENEERS’- now in Jaipur. Natural Veneers as a brand had always been unrepresented in many major cities like Jaipur. Now we make an effort to make it available to the designing fraternity all over the country.

 

Launch of ‘NATURAL VENEERS’ in a city like Jaipur marks the end of non- representation in non-metro cities. With the exhibition we tried to showcase the complete range of our veneers to the best architects and designers of the city. With a strong distributor like Chandalal Kalyanmal we look forward to building a strong community of patrons for the brand.

Architects and designers who also support this philosophy for ‘green’ projects would welcome this change in the Indian veneer industry. We believe and hence we strive to offer ‘green’ solutions in a industry which is considered to be directly affecting the environment.

Interno Exotic Series
As we promised, we are back!! With yet another path breaking innovation to mesmerize the veneering world once again. We are delighted to launch our all new Interno Exotics- new improved version of the original Interno series.


The difference between the two is that the new Interno Exotic series uses mix width veneer strips whereas the original used only fix width veneer strips. This makes the veneer handling even more difficult, but invariably creates a superior look that we all strive for.


Interno Exotics is no less than any pre designed or pre patterned veneers when it comes to producing. Just that it still retains the natural look of veneer and does not let the ‘artificial’ factor to creep in, that most designers try to safe guard in their designs.

Volcano Launch
Inspired by the runaway success of original “RoughCut” veneers for sawn lumber look, we at ‘NATURAL VENEERS’ follow it up with yet another winner in our stable- “Volcano” rough cut veneer series. 

The original RoughCut veneer series won the Interzum award for ‘Intelligent Material Design’ in Germany and marked the international entry for the company with a bang. Whereas ‘Volcano’ series, its next generation promises to create ripples in the domestic Indian market during the year to follow.


The ‘Volcano’ series just goes on to depict the versatility of the company in adapting different production technologies with supreme ease and impeccable perfection. We anticipate more path breaking innovations at ‘NATURAL VENEERS’ in the year to follow.

As TOPL prepares for its first international participation at the Interzum show in Cologne, Germany it puts a new life into the window from where the world would use to peep into TOPL after the show. TOPL has given a completely fresh look to its website with all the latest products, processes, machines and company updates.

TOPL believes there would be a lot of hits on the website once the show is over; primarily for its latest award winning rough cut veneers. "We believe there would be a lot of interest generated at the Interzum in rough cut and smoked veneers. We have tried to put the most relevant information on the web for our potential international customers. Entering the Big League. with a bang!!!
TOPL has finally made its presence felt in the global veneering industry. Since its very inception, TOPL has always been known in the Indian veneer industry, for its pioneering efforts and innovative products. TOPL has made a head start at the Interzum fair 2009 held by the Koelnmesse, by winning the Interzum award: intelligent material & design 2009. TOPL has achieved this distinction for its rough cut veneers (embossed). Combine this with the latest smoking technology and you get a deadly combination that creates ripples in the veneering fraternity. As the news broke out in the top brass a senior director said "It feels nice to be recognized in an international event where best products from all around the world are showcased. Its a great boost for all the people working with us and motivates them to create something new all the time." TOPL has achieved this feat in its very first participation in an international event. TOPL has been exporting quality veneer products since last few years. Now with technologies and infrastructure at par with its foreign counterparts, it eyes the big international market for its innovative veneer products. FSC Certification : Being responsible to our future generations.
TOPL has always been committed to act in an environmentally responsible manner. For this very reason TOPL extends unconditional support to sustainable forest management practices. It proactively looks to encourage organizations following sustainable forest management practices. TOPL has been awarded with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) chain-of-custody certificate issued by The Rainforest Alliance in January 2009. TOPL prefers dealing with companies supporting environmental causes not only in their purchases but also in sales.

TOPL is also very active in marketing FSC certified material to the architectural and design community of India in order to create awareness in the material specifying community. "These guys are the real decision makers.
